The Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative (IFAI) and the Intertribal Buffalo Council (ITBC)  are facilitating the Tribal Caucus ahead of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Tribal Barriers Consultation: Food, Safety, & Trade on Friday, April 26, 2024, beginning at 2 p.m. EST

IFAI and ITBC drafted a briefing document available below. We hope this document provides key information, helping inform and educate Tribal leaders, producers, citizens, and employees on potential barriers and actions to improve USDA’s service and programming to Indian Country.
