The communications teams from Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative, Intertribal Agriculture Council, and Native American Agriculture Fund have come together for a special webinar series, “Native Ag Media Education.”

This series is intended for writers, press, journalists, communicators, and news/media outlets, and will provide information on how to write about the resiliency and growth of Native American Agriculture.

The series includes two webinars covering: Indian Agriculture 101 – Discussing Native Ag Production and Tribal Food Sovereignty Past, Present, and Future; and Telling the Story of Tribal Agriculture- Building Relationships in Indian Country & Best Practices.

As Native agriculture continues to transcend, we invite news outlets to learn how to elevate and showcase the continuous work of our Native American farmers, ranchers, producers, ag educators, CDFI’s, and tribal reporters. Our goal is to educate on best practices so we can share stories that will inspire agriculture advocates nationwide.

The series includes two webinars:

Webinar 1 | Sep. 7, 2 PM EST: Indian Agriculture 101 Discussing Native Ag Production and Tribal Food Sovereignty Past, Present, and Future

Webinar 2 | Oct. 12, 2 PM EST: Telling the Story of Tribal Agriculture: Building Relationships in Indian Country & Best Practices
