On October 2, 2024, the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative hosted an informative tax and asset training session at the River Spirit Casino Resort on the Muscogee (Creek) Nation’s reservation. The sessions, developed alongside the University of Arkansas, provided Tribal tailored tax and asset training specific Indian Country. The sessions helped equip and inform Tribal producers and Tribal citizens with key tax and asset management education.
