In mid-June, the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative facilitated a Food Safety Training with the Wind River Food Sovereignty Program on the Wind River reservation in Wyoming. Thanks to support from the FDA, IFAI is able to offer these trainings for FREE across Indian County.

The Wind River Food Sovereignty Program oversees a farmers market, and this training equipped staff and vendors with food safety education to help ensure the food grown and sold is safe for consumption.
