The Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Agriculture (USDA) formed the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee to review scientific evidence on nutrition and public health. The committee released its Scientific Report in December 2024, which provides information and data to help inform the final 2025 Dietary Guidelines set to be released later this year.

The Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative recently hosted a webinar diving into the report and next steps, which include several opportunities for Tribal input prior to the final guidelines are released.
