On August 28, 2024, the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative hosted an informational webinar exploring the myths about Indian Country agriculture using the data found in the 2022 Census of Agriculture. In this webinar, IFAI’s Jamie Black (Cherokee Nation) and Tish Mindemann peel back the layers of Indian Country’s food and agriculture’s unique and diverse nature to bust myths from government assistance to ag products. Also hear from special guest, Wil Hundl, Jr., Director of Field Operations in the Southern Plains Regional Field Office of the National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS).
