Will Seeley

Originally from Tennessee, Will Seeley completed his B.S. in Food Science and Agricultural Economics at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Before coming to the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative, Will worked for five years with Blackfeet Nation. In his role there, he supported the preparation and implementation of the Blackfeet Agriculture Resource Management Plan (ARMP), which was completed in April 2022, as well as oversaw the development of the Blackfeet Food Sovereignty Strategic Plan.
During Will’s tenure with the Blackfeet Nation, he also worked as a project manager exploring the feasibility and development of a producer-led meat processing facility within the Blackfeet Nation. In his role as the Tribal Enterprise Manager at IFAI, he is building on his prior experiences and continuing to serve Tribal producers, Tribal governments, and Tribally-led organizations in bolstering their economies around food and agricultural investments.
