Meagen Baldy is a Hupa Tribal member from Hoopa, California. She is married to Raymond Baldy and has six children. Meagen has extensive experience working in Indian Country food and agriculture. She served as the district coordinator for the Klamath Trinity Resource Conservation District for 11 years. She is passionate about her community, and when she isn’t working or cheering on her children, she’s helping improve food access by teaching gardening, food preservation, and local food economy development. Meagen brings all of her experience to IFAI to assist Tribes with their food security efforts through produce safety training.
