As the Events and Travel Coordinator for IFAI, Elena provides administrative support for the department’s Food Safety trainings and Native Youth Summit, as well as for other departmental programs involving travel.

Elena has been at the University of Arkansas since 2011 when she took her first job as an Administrative Assistant for the Department of Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences, after which she worked as a Travel Administrator in the Department of Business Service’s travel office before coming to work for IFAI.

Elena is an alumna of the University of Arkansas, with a bachelor’s degree in English.
