🔶 In the coming weeks, President Trump announced that he will be requesting more farm aid from Congress. This comes after the increased costs for diesel and fertilizer due to the war in Iran, and the impacts from tariffs.

🔸 IFAI has put out an analysis of the PRIME Meat Processing in Indian Country Act (Senate bill 399), which deals with self-determination contracting in Tribally owned meat processing facilities.

🔸If you have meat or poultry operation, you might want to check out the proposed rule USDA has published for revising establishment size definitions. 

🔸Congress is in recess for the next two weeks, but you can still check out the notes to hearings we watched last week.

🔸Today is the last day to apply for the IFAI Native Youth in Agriculture Summit!
